Renovations to a Major Huntington Event Venue
MIRC Construction Services completed renovations at Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia, for the City of Huntington. The facility, now known as Marshall Health Network Arena, is a major regional venue for concerts, sporting events, conventions, and community events.
The project included ADA and family restroom improvements, additional restroom renovations, dining hall and kitchen work, meeting-room improvements, doors and finishes, and upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems.
Work included air-handling and exhaust improvements, heat pumps, electrical heating and controls, tile, carpet, wall base, and related construction required to modernize multiple areas of the active public facility.

The work included restroom and accessibility improvements, dining and kitchen renovations, meeting-space upgrades, doors and interior finishes, along with mechanical and electrical improvements supporting the renovated areas.
