Pallottine Sisters Riverbank Stabilization Project Completed

MIRC Construction Services completed a major riverbank stabilization project for the Pallottine Sisters in Huntington. The work included a coordinated system of helical piles, anchors, retaining structures, drainage improvements, and site reconstruction designed to protect and restore the riverfront property.
Cabell Huntington Hospital Central Sterile Department

MIRC crews continued work on a new clean sterile department at Cabell Huntington Hospital while construction teams across the region were providing essential services. The project reflects MIRC’s experience performing complex healthcare renovations within an active hospital environment.

Charleston Electrical JATC Training Facility
2019 · Education & Workforce Development
MIRC Construction Services completed a purpose-built training facility for the Charleston Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. The approximately 3,000-square-foot facility created dedicated space for electrical apprenticeship education and workforce development.
MIRC later returned for an additional mezzanine expansion.
Cabell Huntington Hospital Parking Garage
2017 · Healthcare Construction
MIRC Construction Services served as general contractor for a new four-story parking garage at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
The garage added 885 parking spaces, including 522 net-new spaces, and opened in June 2017. Owner coverage documented the project’s progress and early opening, while MIRC project records establish MIRC’s role as general contractor.
Sissonville Health Center

MIRC Construction Services served as general contractor for the new Sissonville Health Center for Cabin Creek Health Systems.
The approximately 10,600-square-foot facility expanded access to primary and community healthcare services in Sissonville and opened in spring 2017.

Holden Central Elementary Addition

Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority Maintenance Facility
2014 · Government Construction
MIRC Construction Services was awarded the contract for a new maintenance facility for the Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Construction included dedicated maintenance space supporting the authority’s transit vehicle fleet. Progress coverage documented major work including poured pads, structural framing, and completion of the fire wall as the facility moved toward operation.
Cox Landing Branch Library
2014 · Community / Institutional Construction
MIRC Construction Services constructed the Cox Landing Branch Library serving the Lesage area of Cabell County.
Opening coverage identified MIRC Construction Services of Hurricane as the builder of the new branch library.
Hillsboro Elementary School Addition & Renovation
2013 · Education Construction
MIRC Construction Services completed an addition and renovation project at Hillsboro Elementary School in Pocahontas County.
The work included removal of a detached older building, relocation of cafeteria and music functions, and improvements connecting the gymnasium with new dining and commons space.
Public reporting on the project identified MIRC Construction Services in connection with the work.
Marshall University Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex / Hoops Family Field
2012–2013 · Education & Athletic Construction
MIRC Construction Services served as general contractor for Marshall University’s Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex in Huntington.
Construction progressed through 2013 as the new collegiate soccer facility took shape. Marshall University project updates explicitly identified MIRC as general contractor.
The facility later became known as Hoops Family Field.
