Project Overview
MIRC Construction Services completed a comprehensive riverbank stabilization and site improvement project for the Pallottine Sisters at St. Mary’s Convent in Huntington, West Virginia.
The project addressed challenging riverbank conditions along the Ohio River through an engineered stabilization system incorporating helical piles and anchors, a reinforced concrete retaining wall, drainage improvements, and extensive site reconstruction.
Following the structural work, MIRC completed the exterior improvements with new decking, cable railings, integrated lighting, landscaping, and detailed finish work that transformed the stabilized riverfront into a functional and attractive outdoor space.
