Advancing Surgical Care Through Integrated Technology
MIRC Construction Services served as general contractor for the CHH Hybrid Operating Room Surgery Expansion at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. The project created a highly specialized surgical environment that combines advanced imaging technology with the capabilities of a fully equipped operating room.
Designed to support complex vascular and endovascular procedures, the Hybrid OR required detailed coordination among architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, medical gas, equipment, and technology systems. Construction was completed within an active hospital environment, requiring careful planning, infection-control measures, and coordination with ongoing clinical operations.
