MIRC was the construction manager for the 6,500-square-foot Mountain State Medicine + Rheumatology renovation in Charleston, West Virginia.
The project transformed the existing building into a modern medical office with exam rooms, an infusion suite, laboratory areas, reception and waiting spaces, provider offices, a nurse station, and supporting clinical and administrative spaces.
Work included interior demolition, new wall systems and finishes, casework, doors and hardware, accessibility improvements, elevator-related work, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and other building-system upgrades coordinated through MIRC CM Services.

Coordinating a Complex Medical Office Renovation
MIRC CM Services provided construction management for the renovation, coordinating the construction budget, work packages, trade contractors, and building-system improvements throughout the project. The work included demolition, wall systems, casework, doors and hardware, finishes, elevator improvements, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and exterior window and storefront work.
The completed medical office was designed around patient care and staff workflow, with ten exam rooms, an infusion suite, laboratory areas, reception and waiting spaces, a nurse station, provider offices, and supporting clinical spaces.
