Project Overview
MIRC CM Services is providing Construction Management services for the development of a new state-of-the-art skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Barboursville, West Virginia.
The approximately 60,800-square-foot healthcare campus has been designed as a modern 124-bed nursing facility, providing a residential environment while meeting today's healthcare, life safety, and accessibility standards. The project includes resident care wings, nursing stations, administrative offices, therapy and support areas, commercial food service facilities, central dining rooms, landscaped courtyards, covered entrances, parking, and complete site development. The facility is fully protected with automatic fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems and is being constructed in accordance with current healthcare design guidelines and applicable West Virginia building codes.

Taking Shape on the Ground
Early construction activity is underway at the Barboursville Healthcare Center, with crews advancing earthwork, grading, underground infrastructure and preparation of the building pad.
Across the site, survey and grade stakes establish control points, elevations and the building footprint that will guide the work ahead. As excavation and site preparation continue, the approximately 60,000-square-foot skilled nursing facility is beginning to take shape on the ground.
