Timothy J. Malcomb
Project Executive
Timothy J. Malcomb brings more than three decades of experience in construction management, environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental remediation, and executive project leadership to MIRC Construction Services.
Before transitioning into construction project management in 2001, Tim spent eight years as an environmental, health and safety consultant. During that period, he specialized in industrial hygiene and environmental remediation, designing and managing projects within commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities.
That technical background provided Tim with a strong understanding of environmental risk, occupant safety, regulatory compliance, and the challenges associated with completing work in active and sensitive facilities. It continues to inform his approach to project planning, coordination, and construction management.
As Project Executive for MIRC, Tim provides senior-level oversight and support for projects ranging from small, complex renovations to full-facility construction. He works closely with owners, design professionals, project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements, address challenges, and support successful delivery.
Tim has successfully managed more than $100 million in construction across healthcare, commercial, educational, and industrial markets. His experience includes projects completed within occupied facilities where safety, infection control, environmental conditions, phasing, communication, and continuity of operations are critical.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Engineering from Fairmont State College. He is a Certified Healthcare Constructor through the American Hospital Association and a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute. He has also held numerous OSHA and EPA certifications and professional licenses in multiple states.
His leadership approach combines technical knowledge, detailed planning, risk awareness, and practical project-management experience. Tim remains focused on anticipating challenges, maintaining accountability, and helping project teams deliver safe, well-coordinated, and successful construction projects.
